A recent group of researchers in Brazil witnessed a group of frogs (known as Izecksohn’s Brazilian tree frog) exhibiting unusual behavior. The frogs were seen wiggling into a flower in search of nectar and emerging with pollen clinging to their moist backs. More research must be conducted to determine if the frogs are actually acting as pollinators, but due to an increase in technology such as field cameras, many other species have been seen acting as unexpected pollinators including lizards and cockroaches over the past decade.
